Not a fan of EVs until we see a lot more retail market traction in North America.
It needs to hit well over double digit sales growth in a row to prove profitability.
is moving slow for my expectatIons particularly with so many other interesting plays in Tech/Fintech/Healthcare for me that are AI related for the long game.
im bullish now after a long time.
Does anyone else share the same opinion?
I think we are at a healthy price point and the outlook looks good.
Since Covid any gig economy stock has been off my radar due to higher regulation, increased competition and decreasing margins.
Businesses are prone to massive downturns (loss of revenue, income, mass layoffs) due to regulatory environment in all of the Western world.
This said though, I still think Uber over DoorDash, Airbnb, Fiverr, Upwork and Lyft has so much more global potential and larger market scope.
Thanks for the outlook!
Now my question is are we experiencing a healthy dip or is price now stabilized in the 800s (at least till the next earnings)?
The hype doesn’t seem to slow down, volumes are pretty steady but valuation seems to have reach a ceiling (market cap wise).
Nice thanks! My personal choice of Biotech nowadays is . It's gotten many FDA approvals and more on the pipeline, and performance is reflecting this. I'd recommend to check it out too.
I'll be looking into the 3 stocks above as well.
Hey there! What's up with the earnings next week? Anything particular in your watchlist?
I didn't much about it till recently, but it seems like it's up and down quite a bit almost weekly (had a day that it was 44% in January)
Could it be that it's struggling to adjust to a fair price? Or pump and dumpers? They're reporting losses over losses seemingly lol
So interesting, thanks!
as far as I know RR is British, trading in London Stock Exchange. Makes me tempted to check how to invest in the U.K lol especially due to "manufacturer could use its experience in developing nuclear-powered submarines for the Royal Navy for 60 years in its newest venture"
A few that I came across in Nasdaq in the industry are I'll do some due diligence.
I still don't know what to make of it, higher yes - but will it impact my investments (mostly long term) not sure.
Fully agree financial sector, REIT etc. will be impacted though.
Cool! I'm also in Fintech space nowadays, what are some of your favorites?
for me :)
Can we say RIP officially? Despite cost savings and the hype, couldn't beat the earnings.
Waay to many stores, sales declined YoY regardless.
They are, I get that a lot.
I was just at their website and looks like they've expanded their SMB solutions - its a turn key from a startup/small size company perspective: from website creation, all operational and marketing solutions, accounting/tax/bookkeeping and many more.
I see their acquisitions are growing and loading up in small quantities whenever I can.
Yea good point - I’m seeing growth that’s why I indicated Uber over anything else (Uber Uber alles - I know I’m lame :))
Jokes aside their business model proven to work perfectly globally with relatively low operational headcount.
Again the only problem for further expedited bizdev is the regulations and big investor trust due to this.
There’s also some local competition - governments are trying to localize their own Uber like solutions particularly in Europe and some developing countries in Latin America and Asia.
